Description

A lightweight epoxy repair composite for rebuilding damaged vertical and overhead concrete and masonry surfaces. This high-build concrete repair mortar can be applied up to 12.7 cm (5 inches) thick on vertical surfaces and up to 7.6 cm (3 inches) thick on overhead surfaces without the need for support during the application or shuttering during cure.

This solvent-free, lightweight epoxy repair compound is non-porous and does not absorb water or chemicals. It provides excellent resistance to carbonation and can withstand extreme weather conditions.

Generally, concrete requires at least 28 days to cure. In comparison, Belzona 4141 (Magma-Build) achieves full mechanical cure at 25°C (77°F) within 12 hours and full chemical cure within three days.

The lightweight epoxy, Belzona 4141 (Magma-Build), will bond to vertical and overhead surfaces due to its lightweight properties.

To apply the epoxy mortar, Belzona 4141 (Magma-Build), the application surface must be clean, firm, and dry. In addition, it must be free of any paint, tar, and any other coating and abrade stone, concrete, or other masonry surfaces to remove loose material. To mix the materials, it is recommended that a mechanical mixer be used. Add approximately half the Base and all the Solidifier to the mixing container and start the mixer. Once the initial incorporation has been achieved, slowly add the remainder of the Base. Afterward, mix thoroughly until an even consistency is achieved. Then, apply the mixed Belzona 4141 (Magma-Build) with gloved hands, forcing the material firmly into the areas to be rebuilt. Finally, allow the product to cure.
