Description

A high performance, chemical resistant coating optimised for resistance to hot organic acids such as acetic acid and organic solvents up to 90°C (194°F). This solvent-free, concrete protection coating isolates concrete and metal surfaces from deteriorating chemical environments.

Belzona 4331 (Magma CR3) provides a safe and hygienic surface which meets the USDA requirements for incidental food contact. It is simple to apply by brush in one or two coats without the need of specialist tools and cures at room temperature.

Concrete can be coated with epoxy. However, before applying the epoxy coating ensure that the new concrete has cured for a minimum of 28 days for effective concrete protection.

The temperature limit of the high-temperature epoxy Belzona 4331 (Magma CR3) is typically 410 °F (210 °C), and for many applications, the product is suitable down to –40 °F (-40 °C). Please see the Product Specification Sheet (PSS) for more information. Belzona 4311
To apply the chemical-resistant coating, Belzona 4331 (Magma CR3), the surface must be clean, firm, and dry. In addition, it must be free of rust, paint, and other surface coatings and contaminants. Condition the area using Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner). To mix the material, add the entire contents of the Belzona 4331 (Magma CR3) Solidifier component to the Base unit. Then, mix thoroughly until a completely homogenous liquid is achieved. After, wet out the prepared surface using the material with a short-bristled brush or a plastic applicator before building up to the full coating thickness.
