Description

A flexible, 2-part, chemical resistant coating for the long-term protection of concrete from chemical attack. This concrete protection epoxy coating is ideally suited to protect secondary containment areas as it will stay intact in the event of concrete cracking underneath due to its superior flexibility and resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids and alkalis.

Belzona 4361 is easy to mix and apply without the need of specialist tools and cures at room temperature, eliminating the need for hot work.

Chemically resistant means that the object can withstand harsh chemicals such as acids and alkalis. Belzona’s chemical-resistant coatings do just that, they provide a barrier between harsh acids and alkalis and the substrate. The coating protects the substrate from the chemical attack and endures the chemical attack instead.

To apply the industrial coating, Belzona 4361, the surface must be clean, firm, and dry. In addition, it must be free of rust, paint, and other surface coatings and contaminants. Condition the area using Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner). To mix the material, add the entire contents of the Belzona 4361 Solidifier component to the Base unit. Then, mix thoroughly until a completely homogenous liquid is achieved. After, apply the material using a short-bristled brush or a squeegee to the prepared surface. A second coating can be applied as soon as possible to do so without disturbing the first coat. Finally, allow the product to cure. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
